The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Timo!'s Franco Benvenuto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sindo Porregimon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 7th minute Ermengol Alberete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 minutes, Ermengol Alberete made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Timo!'s Elpidio Amor tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A throw-in in the 17th minute of the game was made by Telmo Camargo with Arquímedes Cesario as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 23rd minute, Ermengol Alberete ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elpidio Amor was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The supporters of Timo! booed when Socavon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maciek Cash didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timo!'s Elpidio Amor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Timo! from getting a goal against them. Socavon FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fehmi Erdemer in the 31st minute. Fehmi Erdemer made a great header on Socavon FC's corner, it was just that Timo!'s Elpidio Amor managed to reach the ball for a save. 33 minutes into the match, Socavon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Benvenuto came free, but Sindo Porregimon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timo!'s Elpidio Amor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Timo! from getting a goal against them. Arquímedes Cesario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sindo Porregimon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to Socavon FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ksawery Furgal hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Franco Benvenuto made the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Ilie Hurmuz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Socavon FC's Sindo Porregimon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ilie Hurmuz in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sindo Porregimon saved Socavon FC from getting behind. Sindo Porregimon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evandro Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 60th minute Socavon FC were awarded a corner. Fehmi Erdemer went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Zhu Bin Xi got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-1. 61 minutes into the match. Elpidio Amor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermengol Alberete, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Timo! made a substitution. Alexandr Lunin replaced Ilie Hurmuz. After 68 minutes Timo!'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fehmi Erdemer who took care of the corner kick. When Timo!'s Franco Benvenuto in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Socavon FC's goalie prevented a goal. 71 minutes into the match, Socavon FC's Ermengol Alberete sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elpidio Amor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 75 minutes of play, Socavon FC's Ermengol Alberete made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elpidio Amor was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Socavon FC's Intxixu Huarte in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Timo!'s goalie prevented a goal. Sindo Porregimon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandr Lunin's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Sindo Porregimon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Socavon FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Timo! had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
