An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Dominix in the 93rd minute of play forced Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper Pablo Mei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute Marno F.C. were awarded a corner. Zeledon Victoro went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Plaza Jewell's goalie and right to Cristobal Dominix. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Plaza Jewell's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 97 minutes into the match, Plaza Jewell's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio López came free, but Pablo Mei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chants of Plaza Jewell echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Marno F.C. had held the ball for most of the match.
