The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Melchor Gregory took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evelio Salvadore. Evelio Salvadore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 15th minute Peng Sha Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Salvadore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florencio Chano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Evelio Salvadore made a huge save. Sven-Hendrik Ohmer might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aquiles Senio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Hendrik Ohmer ran back to his position shaking his head. Dionisia's Aquiles Senio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Hendrik Ohmer in the 19th minute of play. Evelio Salvadore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Gregory, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dionisia's Melchor Gregory got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the game, Melchor Gregory recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Evelio Salvadore. Melchor Gregory showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. 41 minutes into the match, C.A.Esparta's goal looked a bit too open when Melchor Gregory came free, but Evelio Salvadore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Hendrik Ohmer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aquiles Senio having to make a save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peng Sha Yang to make the kick off. Aquiles Senio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Hendrik Ohmer in the 54th minute. Dionisia made a substitution. Sebastian Cisco replaced Florencio Chano. Dionisia's Arnaldo Beturian was substituted for Melchor Gregory. Aquilino Piearres made in the 63rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by C.A.Esparta's Gottfrid Ek. A collision led to Dionisia getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Denis Ereinotz hit a great ball. After 69 played minutes Dionisia got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Piearres. In the 72nd minute Adrian Arotza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Senio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evelio Salvadore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Beturian in the 74th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, C.A.Esparta's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Beturian came free, but Evelio Salvadore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Dionisia's Arnaldo Beturian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evelio Salvadore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aquilino Piearres's late challenge caught a C.A.Esparta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aquilino Piearres helped the player get up and apologised. Aquilino Piearres hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Arotza in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquiles Senio saved Dionisia from getting behind. Dionisia's Arnaldo Beturian got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of C.A.Esparta booed when Dionisia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Piearres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dionisia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
