Emanuel Muro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Muro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingos Palomar got a throw-in 23 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Zosimo Lemos. Blanco Lasaca hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Deportivo Venezuela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Urrutia Aizpurua came free, but Victor Guardamino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Guardamino was a little too slow when Juan Santayana got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Emanuel Muro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Venezuela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Muro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Espinola Ucles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Urrutia Aizpurua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Zosimo Lemos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Espinola Ucles made a huge save. In the last second Espinola Ucles throw himself and got hold of the ball when Pinto Cardoza in the 55thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Alberto SC's zone, Zosimo Lemos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Espinola Ucles came out of the goal and Zosimo Lemos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victor Guardamino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urrutia Aizpurua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th match minute, Alberto SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blanco Lasaca to maneuver through the defense. When Blanco Lasaca fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alberto SC's protests and gave Blanco Lasaca a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, Blanco Lasaca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zosimo Lemos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Espinola Ucles made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Alberto SC's zone, Pinto Cardoza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Espinola Ucles came out of the goal and Pinto Cardoza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto SC's Urrutia Aizpurua got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute of the game, Veremundo Parrondo landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Domingos Palomar's late challenge caught a Alberto SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingos Palomar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Deportivo Venezuela FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Domingos Palomar hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, Pinto Cardoza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Espinola Ucles. Alberto SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pinto Cardoza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.
