In the 3rdth minute of the game Lorenzo Kellogg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. Quilmes's Fermin Hulberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 7th minute, Dündar Aymaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fermin Hulberto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Forest's Adrianinho Massa got a free kick in the 9th minute. Jeferson Toledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Liberto in the 11th minute. Fermin Hulberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Kellogg, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Lorenzo Kellogg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fermin Hulberto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Forest's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Giuseppe Xavier in the 18th minute. Forest's Giuseppe Xavier quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bernabe Domenec, made in the 23rd minute of the game. Lorenzo Kellogg might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fermin Hulberto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lorenzo Kellogg ran back to his position shaking his head. Fermin Hulberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Kellogg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, C.A. Quilmes's Bernabe Domenec got a free kick in the 25th minute. C.A. Quilmes's Fermin Hulberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Kellogg in the 30th minute of play. Fermin Hulberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Kellogg in the 32nd minute of the match. Lorenzo Kellogg might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fermin Hulberto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lorenzo Kellogg ran back to his position shaking his head. Fermin Hulberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Kellogg in the 33rd minute of play. Fermin Hulberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Kellogg, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Lorenzo Kellogg scored 0-3 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fermin Hulberto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Fermin Hulberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Kellogg in the 52nd minute of play. Giuseppe Xavier made in the 60th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Tarcisio Neves however managed to control. 62 minutes into the match, C.A. Quilmes's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Kellogg came free, but Fermin Hulberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Froilan Eusko in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeferson Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fermin Hulberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Kellogg in the 70th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Forest's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Eusko came free, but Jeferson Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lorenzo Kellogg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Fermin Hulberto made a huge save. Lorenzo Kellogg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fermin Hulberto having to make a save. In the 77th minute Lorenzo Kellogg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Hulberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A. Quilmes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Lorenzo Kellogg scored to the left of an out of position Fermin Hulberto, making the score, 0-4. Forest's Lorenzo Kellogg got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fermin Hulberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Kellogg in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Kellogg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fermin Hulberto. Lorenzo Kellogg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Forest's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
