The supporters of Tibana FC booed when Medianeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vágner do Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Léo Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Erus, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Elder Figueiredo hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Léo Lago acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 66th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Xurdin Resto. In the 67th match minute, Medianeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vágner do Valle to maneuver through the defense. Léo Lago was a little too slow when Fabio Zapatero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 75th minute, Feliberto Erus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Léo Lago. The goal made the score 0-3. After 78 minutes of play, Tibana FC's Feliberto Erus made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Léo Lago was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alessandro Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Haroldo Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medianeira's supporters rose to their feet, but Haroldo Alagoano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manoel Isla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
