Valentin Bues short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Franklin Monzon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 28 minutes into the match, Laureles AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Canales came free, but Eloy Matuta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wrex Phoenix's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Bras Beneit scored to the left of an out of position Franklin Monzon, making the score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baltazar Messias during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Baltazar Messias hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Valentin Bue succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 44th playminute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Bras Beneit made the kick off in the second half. Franklin Monzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Bue in the 58th minute of play. Orlando Ruiz hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Eloy Matuta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Canales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Allan Canales reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eloy Matuta. The goal made the score 2-1. Franklin Monzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bras Beneit in the 78th minute of the match. Bras Beneit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cordario Jaimes's late challenge caught a Wrex Phoenix's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cordario Jaimes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Wrex Phoenix booed when Laureles AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cordario Jaimes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 83 minutes, Valentin Bue made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Wrex Phoenix's Franklin Monzon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Allan Canales might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eloy Matuta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Allan Canales ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Laureles AFC had won after a very even match.
