The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lorenzo Kellogg was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, FC Lauro's Afonso Morais got control of the ball when Lorenzo Kellogg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aírton de Senna was slow to take the kick. During this time Forest's players had a chance to rest.
