Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Philip Hendricks started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Bras Beneit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isnardy's Jeff Nadeau got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bras Beneit charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bras Beneit the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Laureles AFC's Bras Beneit got a free kick in the 8th minute. Philip Hendricks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eloy Matuta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Laureles AFC got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Bujan. 12 minutes in the game, Jeff Nadeau fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eloy Matuta having to interfere. The Laureles AFC fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Laureles AFC's Bras Beneit looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 23 minutes, Bras Beneit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laureles AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bras Beneit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laureles AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Philip Hendricks scored to the left of an out of position Eloy Matuta, making the score, 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conrado Cifuentes in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Monroe Franklin saved Isnardy from getting behind. Bras Beneit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 37 minutes, Valentin Bue managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laureles AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Bue was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valentin Bue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bras Beneit to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bras Beneit in the 52nd minute of play forced Isnardy's goalkeeper Monroe Franklin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Laureles AFC booed when Isnardy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philip Hendricks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Monroe Franklin went to the wrong direction when Alberto Echaez was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Bras Beneit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monroe Franklin made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Valentin Bue sent off a good shot on target. Bras Beneit was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. Laureles AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jeff Nadeau struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Eloy Matuta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Isnardy. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conrado Cifuentes during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Conrado Cifuentes kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Monroe Franklin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bras Beneit in the 84th minute of the match. Bras Beneit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Monroe Franklin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Isnardy booed when Laureles AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Cifuentes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Bue struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Monroe Franklin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laureles AFC. After 94 minutes, Judson Caballero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Isnardy and the Laureles AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes Isnardy got a freekick which was hit by Judson Caballero. Monroe Franklin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bras Beneit in the 96th minute of play. The supporters of Laureles AFC booed when Isnardy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Marcus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laureles AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
