In the 13th minute, Medianeira's Olívio Botelho seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Olívio Botelho the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Medianeira protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Olívio Botelho had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 13th minute, one of Medianeira:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Medianeira. 20 minutes into the game, Juras Jankaitis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Léo Lago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vágner do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evaristo Gaspar during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vágner do Valle charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vágner do Valle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Medianeira's Léo Lago tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mathijs Grommers struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Léo Lago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nakties Klajūnai. Natã de Almeida hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
