Franklin Monzon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philip Hendricks, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the game, Isnardy's Jeff Nadeau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franklin Monzon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Wrex Phoenix's Franklin Monzon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philip Hendricks in the 13th minute of play. Enrique Carrillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Monroe Franklin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Canales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Allan Canales managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wrex Phoenix's supporters rose to their feet, but Allan Canales was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Monroe Franklin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enrique Carrillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Monroe Franklin having to interfere. Isnardy's Monroe Franklin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Carrillo in the 25th minute of play. Franklin Monzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Hendricks in the 33rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Philip Hendricks in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franklin Monzon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Allan Canales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Carrillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The wind increased when Philip Hendricks made the kick off in the second half. In the 72nd minute Philip Hendricks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin Monzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrique Carrillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Monroe Franklin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Wrex Phoenix's Allan Canales dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Isnardy's Philip Hendricks got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Allan Canales got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 86th match minute, Wrex Phoenix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Parada to maneuver through the defense. After 90 played minutes Wrex Phoenix got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Parada. Jeff Nadeau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Misael Pineda hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
