Evaristo Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Cristi Sălcudeanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Medianeira. After having played for 10 minutes, Evaristo Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medianeira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evaristo Gaspar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonas Arósio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Cristi Sălcudeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tudor Joanță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 16 played minutes Medianeira got a freekick which was hit by Elder Figueiredo. When Tudor Joanță came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the LPS Buzău F fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tudor Joanță couldn't finish the play. When Medianeira's Jonas Arósio in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evaristo Gaspar got free with Cristi Sălcudeanu in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. LPS Buzău F's Cristi Sălcudeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Arósio in the 42nd minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tudor Joanță was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Claudiu Decuseară was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LPS Buzău F's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Medianeira the free kick. After a rather tough play, LPS Buzău F's Claudiu Decuseară got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 57 minutes into the match, Marin Ilinca notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Medianeira's Léo Lago. Léo Lago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 60 minutes into the game, Medianeira's Evaristo Gaspar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristi Sălcudeanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Marin Ilinca succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 73rd playminute. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Marin Ilinca put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Léo Lago. Marin Ilinca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rdth minute of the game Tudor Joanță who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Medianeira's Léo Lago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonas Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristi Sălcudeanu having to interfere. Vágner do Valle's late challenge caught a LPS Buzău F's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vágner do Valle helped the player get up and apologised. Marin Ilinca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo Lago having to interfere. Cristi Sălcudeanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonas Arósio went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. The LPS Buzău F players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
