The referee showed Pearson McFrancise the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After having played for 52 minutes, Batt Rogers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kindrohid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batt Rogers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Phelim McLaughlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Phelim McLaughlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Juan Santayana kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oliver Palmer. That made the score 1-1 in the 65 minute of play. Tonio Olavarrieta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Palmer having to interfere. Alberto SC's Gerardo Esquivel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugh McDecland in the 73 minute of the game. Maximo Muños kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geary Benson in the 76th minute of play forced Alberto SC's goalkeeper Espinola Ucles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Batt Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Espinola Ucles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Urrutia Aizpurua notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Kindrohid's Oliver Palmer. Oliver Palmer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Espinola Ucles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batt Rogers in the 91st minute of the match. Alberto SC's Urrutia Aizpurua got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
