The supporters of Kivimaki FC booed when Gimnástico F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Policarpio Marcos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Policarpio Marcos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Llorian Sauca was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Llorian Sauca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Policarpio Marcos went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 19 minutes, Mauricio Talavera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kivimaki FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauricio Talavera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 minutes of play, Gimnástico F.C.'s Choice Chopart made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Llorian Sauca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cloyo Alcaraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nacho Abril might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bekololari Idachaba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nacho Abril ran back to his position shaking his head. Edorta Tobias hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cloyo Alcaraz in the 45th minute of play forced Kivimaki FC's goalkeeper Llorian Sauca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Kivimaki FC's Edorta Tobias got a free kick in the 45th minute. Llorian Sauca came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Gimnástico F.C.'s Policarpio Marcos. But to his dismay, Policarpio Marcos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cloyo Alcaraz to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Kivimaki FC's Artemio Nunez got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Kivimaki FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Policarpio Marcos scored to the left of an out of position Llorian Sauca, making the score, 0-6. Policarpio Marcos kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Talavera in the 58th minute of play forced Gimnástico F.C.'s goalkeeper Bekololari Idachaba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60thth minute of the game Mauricio Talavera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gimnástico F.C.'s Bekololari Idachaba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Marcelino Montiel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bekololari Idachaba. Gimnástico F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelino Montiel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Bekololari Idachaba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Montiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Bekololari Idachaba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauricio Talavera went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-6 was the resulting score. Gimnástico F.C.'s Bekololari Idachaba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Talavera in the 76th minute of play. Nacho Abril received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Bekololari Idachaba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bekololari Idachaba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Montiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kivimaki FC's Llorian Sauca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Policarpio Marcos in the 81st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mauricio Talavera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bekololari Idachaba was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Caton Roca hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gimnástico F.C.'s goalkeeper Bekololari Idachaba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Gimnástico F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
