After having played for 5 minutes, Luís Gustavo de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Goodfellas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Gustavo de Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute Luís Gustavo de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radowit Trzaskoma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Goodfellas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sebastian Larsson was slow to take the kick. During this time FA Sandtown's players had a chance to rest. The throw-in from Radomil Barys in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Goodfellas's Felix Bodea. A sloppy throw-in by Radomil Barys in the 14th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Goodfellas's Felix Bodea. Luís Gustavo de Amaral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radowit Trzaskoma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. FC Goodfellas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jesus Frisco in the 28th minute. A nice corner shot did that Jesus Frisco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Radowit Trzaskoma quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 29 played minutes FC Goodfellas got a freekick which was hit by Felix Bodea. Ludomir Tarka kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Radowit Trzaskoma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Gustavo de Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, FA Sandtown's Gaston Rader got a free kick in the 36th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

FA Sandtown made a substitution. Giovani Correia replaced Witomir Skikiewicz. FA Sandtown's Benoit Van Bettenrode was substituted for Mathias Jonasson. In the 55thth minute of the game Benoit Van Bettenrode who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Goodfellas's Jaroslaw Komanski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aabel Aibast in the 58th minute of play forced FA Sandtown's goalkeeper Radowit Trzaskoma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, FA Sandtown's goalkeeper Radowit Trzaskoma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Gustavo de Amaral. FC Goodfellas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jesus Frisco in the 61st minute. The corner led FC Goodfellas's Jesus Frisco to fire away a dangerous shot which Radowit Trzaskoma despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FA Sandtown's zone, Çelikan Unan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radowit Trzaskoma came out of the goal and Çelikan Unan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Goodfellas's Hubert Pentjärv was substituted for Luís Gustavo de Amaral. FC Goodfellas made a substitution. Henri Ladva replaced Çelikan Unan. After 85 minutes of play, FA Sandtown's Benoit Van Bettenrode made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jaroslaw Komanski was left in no man's land by his defense there! 93 minutes into the game, Radomil Barys threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Goodfellas's Dilmen Parshan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Radowit Trzaskoma was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Hubert Pentjärv capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hubert Pentjärv really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 2-2. Extra-time would have to be played.

102 minutes into the match, FA Sandtown's goal looked a bit too open when Henri Ladva came free, but Radowit Trzaskoma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Suelo Montana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 107th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hubert Pentjärv's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radowit Trzaskoma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 109th minute of play. In the 111th minute of the match FC Goodfellas got a corner. FA Sandtown's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aabel Aibast ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tonko Jelovica hit a great freekick 115 minutes into the match. The score was still level after an even and exciting first-half in extra time. The players took a moment to grab a drink and get instructions from their managers before swapping ends.

Everyone could clearly see that both FC Goodfellas's and FA Sandtown's players was becoming tired in their legs when FC Goodfellas's Hubert Pentjärv did the kick off in the second half of the overtime. In the 119th match minute, FC Goodfellas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dilmen Parshan to maneuver through the defense. After 128 played minutes FC Goodfellas got a freekick which was hit by Dilmen Parshan. After some careless play in the FC Goodfellas defense, Benoit Van Bettenrode kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jaroslaw Komanski. The FC Goodfellas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jaroslaw Komanski should have stopped the shot.
