Hilario Pesquera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferenc Puskás in the 15th minute of play. If Ceyhan Celvet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 18 minutes into the match, Tottenham Hotspurs's goalkeeper Damián Martínez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ceyhan Celvet. The audience was convinced that Dario Betzanos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damián Martínez was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Ferenc Puskás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. In the 96th minute, Camerino Luey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damián Martínez was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Golden Dragón F.C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
