Fulgencio Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Kisielka in the 11th minute of play. Fulgencio Eyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Kisielka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sebastián Saja. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. Fulgencio Eyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Kisielka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peep Pronk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastián Saja having to make a save. After 40 minutes AC LeX Luthor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alexander Zaccardi who took care of the corner kick. In the 44th minute Qu Yi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan Kisielka to make the kick off. After some careless play in the A.C ALDO BONZI defense, Karl-Axel Kielstedt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastián Saja. The A.C ALDO BONZI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastián Saja should have stopped the shot. Peep Pronk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. Alvaro Errando replaced Peep Pronk. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Kisielka got free with Fulgencio Eyague in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Errando in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastián Saja prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute of the match AC LeX Luthor got a corner. A.C ALDO BONZI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mario Yepes ran over to the corner to take the kick. AC LeX Luthor's Mario Yepes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sebastián Saja in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sebastián Saja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Errando, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Karl-Axel Kielstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
