Peep Pronk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melchor Calixto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Melchor Calixto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peep Pronk in the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Elias Viviano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Peep Pronk put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Melchor Calixto. Froilan Ponc kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Peep Pronk might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melchor Calixto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peep Pronk ran back to his position shaking his head. Mario Yepes scored 3-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melchor Calixto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Karl-Axel Kielstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC LeX Luthor's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Axel Kielstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melchor Calixto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Telesforo in the 51st minute of play forced AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Fulgencio Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save AC LeX Luthor from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Cachiyuyo EAS defense, Peep Pronk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melchor Calixto. The Cachiyuyo EAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melchor Calixto should have stopped the shot. When AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cachiyuyo EAS's goalie prevented a goal. In the 75th match minute, Cachiyuyo EAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Viviano to maneuver through the defense. AC LeX Luthor's Alvaro Errando was substituted for Peep Pronk. After a rather tough play, Cachiyuyo EAS's Elias Viviano got a free kick in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the game, AC LeX Luthor's Alvaro Errando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melchor Calixto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 82 minutes into the match, Alvaro Errando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melchor Calixto. Cachiyuyo EAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Errando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Mario Yepes took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melchor Calixto. Melchor Calixto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. In the 88th minute, Mario Yepes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC LeX Luthor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Alvaro Errando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Viviano hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AC LeX Luthor had played much better football throughout.
