The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Melchor Calixto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ceyhan Celvet in the 3rd minute. In the 12th minute of the match Cachiyuyo EAS got a corner. Golden Dragón F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Froilan Ponc ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Golden Dragón F.C booed when Cachiyuyo EAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Pepillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hilario Pesquera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Hurko in the 21st minute of the match. Ceyhan Celvet might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melchor Calixto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ceyhan Celvet ran back to his position shaking his head. The attack was good, but when Ceyhan Celvet in the 24th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Honorio Telesforo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cachiyuyo EAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Telesforo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Telesforo in the 32nd minute of play forced Golden Dragón F.C's goalkeeper Hilario Pesquera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceyhan Celvet in the 33rd minute of play forced Cachiyuyo EAS's goalkeeper Melchor Calixto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Golden Dragón F.C's Ceyhan Celvet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melchor Calixto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Cachiyuyo EAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melchor Calixto should have stopped the shot. In the 41st match minute, Cachiyuyo EAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Iraido to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Golden Dragón F.C's Ceyhan Celvet ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Melchor Calixto. Melchor Calixto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Melchor Calixto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ceyhan Celvet showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 46 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Honorio Telesforo made a kick off. Melchor Calixto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceyhan Celvet, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Ceyhan Celvet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Melchor Calixto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hilario Pesquera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Telesforo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Golden Dragón F.C's Dario Betzanos was substituted for Ceyhan Celvet. Golden Dragón F.C's Xamo Melic was substituted for Alan Petersen. Golden Dragón F.C's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Niceto Oriche hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Xamo Melic scored 5-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melchor Calixto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute, Camerino Luey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Dragón F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 95 minutes into the match, Cachiyuyo EAS's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Betzanos came free, but Melchor Calixto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Golden Dragón F.C's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
