The throw-in from Vicente Hurko in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tottenham Hotspurs's Jairo Unax. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Telesforo in the 18th minute of play forced Tottenham Hotspurs's goalkeeper Damián Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damián Martínez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Hurko, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The supporters of Cachiyuyo EAS booed when Tottenham Hotspurs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valério Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente Hurko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Damián Martínez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damián Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Telesforo in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tottenham Hotspurs's Eugenio Mena got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute of the match Froilan Ponc shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damián Martínez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 36th minute, Ferenc Puskás got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Ferenc Puskás notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cachiyuyo EAS's Melchor Calixto. Melchor Calixto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Honorio Telesforo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damián Martínez having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferenc Puskás to make the kick off. When Honorio Telesforo came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Cachiyuyo EAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorio Telesforo couldn't finish the play. Ferenc Puskás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismael Argider hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Ferenc Puskás might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melchor Calixto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ferenc Puskás ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Tottenham Hotspurs getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Eustaquio Pepillo hit a great ball. The supporters of Cachiyuyo EAS booed when Tottenham Hotspurs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Mena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tottenham Hotspurs made a substitution. Everardo Lucero replaced 冯博凌. After 78 played minutes Tottenham Hotspurs got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Mena. After 82 minutes of play, Tottenham Hotspurs's Ferenc Puskás made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melchor Calixto was left in no man's land by his defense there! 90 minutes into the match, Cachiyuyo EAS's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Lucero came free, but Melchor Calixto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melchor Calixto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valério Santana's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Cachiyuyo EAS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
