Leonides Telesforo came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ahmet Paşa. But to his dismay, Ahmet Paşa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Albino Maiorga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Echeverri, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Albino Maiorga came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Cable a Tierra's Amancio Luke. But to his dismay, Amancio Luke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Luke in the 13th minute of play forced Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goalkeeper Albino Maiorga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albino Maiorga came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Cable a Tierra's Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan. But to his dismay, Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Camilo Azubeli's late challenge caught a Cable a Tierra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Azubeli helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cable a Tierra booed when Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Azubeli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Beltrame came free, but Leonides Telesforo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 34th minute of the match Camilo Azubeli completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Camilo Azubeli a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 34th match minute, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Azubeli to maneuver through the defense. Albino Maiorga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Luke in the 36th minute of play. With a little luck, Cable a Tierra's Leonides Telesforo got control of the ball when Ahmet Paşa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arturo Lopez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonides Telesforo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Paşa in the 52nd minute of the match. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Albino Maiorga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Pomelo Nenene from getting a goal against them. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Albino Maiorga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Luke in the 65th minute of play. Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 66thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's keeper Albino Maiorga was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Cable a Tierra's Luciano Urtungo was substituted for Amancio Luke. In the 68th minute of the match Cable a Tierra got a corner. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Claudio Echeverri ran over to the corner to take the kick. 69 minutes into the game Claudio Echeverri kicked a great long shot which passed Albino Maiorga straight ahead into the goal, Result 1-3. One couldn't see Claudio Echeverri behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. Eduardo Beltrame hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan in the 73rd minute of play forced Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goalkeeper Albino Maiorga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ezequiel Lluques fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's protests and gave Ezequiel Lluques a yellow card for diving instead. 75 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's Claudio Echeverri broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Cable a Tierra getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan hit a great ball. Leonides Telesforo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Beltrame, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Arturo Lopez came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Deportivo Pomelo Nenene fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Lopez couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Lopez in the 84th minute of play forced Cable a Tierra's goalkeeper Leonides Telesforo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ezequiel Lluques got his second yellow card of the match in the 88th minute. The referee ordered Ezequiel Lluques off the ground. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ezequiel Lluques got a free kick in the 89th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cable a Tierra eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
