Internazionale-RS's Michel Netto quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fulgencio Eguerdi, made in the 7th minute of the game. Alan Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 21 played minutes Internazionale-RS got a freekick which was hit by Dany-Adams De Scheper. When Club Atletico Los Andes's Kim Lekberg in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Internazionale-RS's goalie prevented a goal. After 21 minutes, Kim Lekberg made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Internazionale-RS's Stefan Neubrandt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tipi Calderon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alan Tavares in the 25th minute. Internazionale-RS's Stefan Neubrandt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Lekberg in the 27th minute of play. Kim Lekberg scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stefan Neubrandt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Moisés Cordeiro made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club Atletico Los Andes's Orlando Inautzi. Stefan Neubrandt came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Los Andes's Kim Lekberg. But to his dismay, Kim Lekberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Stefan Neubrandt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Lekberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's goal looked a bit too open when Kim Lekberg came free, but Stefan Neubrandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Moisés Cordeiro in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Club Atletico Los Andes's Orlando Inautzi. Orlando Inautzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alan Tavares to strike the kick off in the second half. Tipi Calderon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Batiste Carrez made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alan Tavares immediately put the ball in play. Club Atletico Los Andes's Kim Lekberg got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kim Lekberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Neubrandt having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Tavares in the 69th minute of play forced Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Tipi Calderon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Internazionale-RS's Rogelio Lynch was substituted for Alan Tavares. Internazionale-RS's Rodriguinho Rossi was substituted for Caco Borges. In the 76th minute, Dany-Adams De Scheper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kaj Skager could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Stefan Neubrandt made a huge save. Juarês Salles got a throw-in 82 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Dany-Adams De Scheper. In the 83rd match minute, Club Atletico Los Andes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Belo to maneuver through the defense. If Dany-Adams De Scheper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Internazionale-RS booed when Club Atletico Los Andes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Cordarrel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orlando Inautzi hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Atletico Los Andes walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
