When Christos Triantafyllou came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Granate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christos Triantafyllou couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute, Christos Triantafyllou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Granate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Donato Lorenz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Nabi Civan in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match, Luisito Estevon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but João Pedro Reis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Donato Lorenz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Nabi Civan, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Luisito Estevon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jaakko Ramstadius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 28 minutes into the match, Granate's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Nabi Civan came free, but Donato Lorenz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Pedro Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaakko Ramstadius in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Usko Ruuttu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dé Severo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donato Lorenz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After 36 played minutes Benprev got a freekick which was hit by Joélson Messias. 37 minutes into the match, Benprev's goalkeeper João Pedro Reis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christos Triantafyllou. William Bengtsson hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Donato Lorenz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Nabi Civan in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christos Triantafyllou to make the kick off. Ali Nabi Civan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Donato Lorenz made a huge save. In the 55thth minute of the game Christos Triantafyllou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Benprev's João Pedro Reis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Lekubegi in the 57th minute of play forced Benprev's goalkeeper João Pedro Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th match minute, Granate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaakko Ramstadius to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Granate's Donato Lorenz got control of the ball when Joélson Messias tried to sneak it across the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Granate's goal looked a bit too open when Joélson Messias came free, but Donato Lorenz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 minutes, William Bengtsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Benprev and the Granate players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Benprev:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Granate:s goal. Donato Lorenz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joélson Messias in the 77th minute of the match. João Pedro Reis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christos Triantafyllou's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. The Granate fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Granate's Christos Triantafyllou looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Joélson Messias took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Donato Lorenz to make any attempt to save it. 89 minutes into the match, Joélson Messias dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Donato Lorenz, 3-4. Granate's Donato Lorenz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto Mendonça in the 92nd minute of play. Benprev's Joélson Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Benprev had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
