Best Junel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, U21 MZ Country's Gilles Hasni got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Ali Larfaoui made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Emil Scobioalã sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the match, Mansour Schoonmaker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Best Junel. U21 Moldova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mansour Schoonmaker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Nordine Brahimi kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 31 minutes, Tedj Akrour mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 MZ Country and the U21 Moldova players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, U21 MZ Country's Tedj Akrour got a free kick in the 31st minute. The U21 Moldova players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. U21 MZ Country were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mihail Postolache to make the kick off. Ali Larfaoui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihail Postolache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a left leg Best Junel saved U21 Moldova from getting behind. Best Junel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mebarek Zaaboub's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Ali Larfaoui didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mesut Özil went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. With a little luck, U21 Moldova's Best Junel got control of the ball when Hocine Oussalah tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 88 played minutes U21 MZ Country got a freekick which was hit by Gilles Hasni. Tedj Akrour kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. U21 MZ Country's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
