Dick Trenning kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Jozef Botto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dráusio Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Türkeş Akşit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the game, Andırın SK's Türkeş Akşit nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dráusio Duarte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Andırın SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Vimaro came free, but Farid Mondragon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dráusio Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Türkeş Akşit in the 14th minute of play. Dráusio Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jozef Botto in the 20th minute of play. Dráusio Duarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Türkeş Akşit went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Elco Popping got a throw-in 26 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gerjan Mos. Dráusio Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Türkeş Akşit, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Türkeş Akşit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 30 minutes into the match, Suttum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Türkeş Akşit came free, but Dráusio Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Türkeş Akşit in the 34th minute of play forced Suttum FC's goalkeeper Dráusio Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 minutes Suttum FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Naci Tansu who took care of the corner kick. 40 minutes into the match, Suttum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Türkeş Akşit came free, but Dráusio Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Suttum FC's Lino Tande got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Dráusio Duarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Türkeş Akşit went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After the first half Andırın SK were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Türkeş Akşit made the kick off in the second half. Lino Tande hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Suttum FC defense, Türkeş Akşit kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dráusio Duarte. The Suttum FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dráusio Duarte should have stopped the shot. In the 55th match minute, Suttum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dick Trenning to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the game, Lino Tande was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Suttum FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Andırın SK the free kick. Andırın SK's Olaf Jarosz was substituted for Türkeş Akşit. 57 minutes into the game, one of Suttum FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Türkeş Uğuralp came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Andırın SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Türkeş Uğuralp couldn't finish the play. If Türkeş Uğuralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dráusio Duarte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Türkeş Uğuralp in the 68th minute. Suttum FC's Dráusio Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babayaro Yorgun in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Türkeş Uğuralp in the 73rd minute of play forced Suttum FC's goalkeeper Dráusio Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olaf Jarosz hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Dráusio Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Jarosz in the 83rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Andırın SK's Olaf Jarosz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dráusio Duarte. That made the score 0-8 after 88 minutes of play. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Suttum FC's goalkeeper Dráusio Duarte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Suttum FC's zone, Babayaro Yorgun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dráusio Duarte came out of the goal and Babayaro Yorgun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Andırın SK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
