Natural Born Killers's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nico de Mendonça 7 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 11th minute Jacek Kloczko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serginho Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Naldo Baiano kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Nando Leão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Dobromir Kanczuszewski made a huge save. When Nico de Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the MINEIROS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nico de Mendonça couldn't finish the play. Nico de Mendonça received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dobromir Kanczuszewski came out and tried to block the shot, but Nico de Mendonça slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 19th minute. Serginho Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacek Kloczko in the 24th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilson de Souza got free with Dobromir Kanczuszewski in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 32 played minutes Natural Born Killers got a freekick which was hit by Ignacy Hajto. 32 minutes into the match, Maicon Quintal sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Dobromir Kanczuszewski threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Maicon Quintal this time. Nando Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Zanette could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Dobromir Kanczuszewski made a huge save. Natural Born Killers's Dobromir Kanczuszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benê Amorim in the 43rd minute of play. Dobromir Kanczuszewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benê Amorim in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nico de Mendonça to strike the kick off in the second half. Dobromir Kanczuszewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maicon Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Dobromir Kanczuszewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nico de Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute Nico de Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dobromir Kanczuszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dobromir Kanczuszewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico de Mendonça in the 63rd minute of play. Dobromir Kanczuszewski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nico de Mendonça went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Dobromir Kanczuszewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Zanette in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, MINEIROS's Benê Amorim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dobromir Kanczuszewski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Natural Born Killers's Dobromir Kanczuszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho Meirelles in the 84th minute of play. Dobromir Kanczuszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico de Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MINEIROS fully deserved thier win.
