When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, João Batista took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tytus Buczak to make any attempt to save it. Tytus Buczak came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Leopoldo Sanches. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Sanches quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 10th minute, Jurand Nieuzyla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th match minute, Agresywne Leniwce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marek Pyczkowski to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Sanches notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Agresywne Leniwce's Tytus Buczak. Tytus Buczak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 15th minute, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Joélson Paraibano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Marek Pyczkowski's late challenge caught a S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marek Pyczkowski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, Agresywne Leniwce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marek Pyczkowski to maneuver through the defense. Joélson Paraibano did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Tytus Buczak 22 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, João Batista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tytus Buczak. Agresywne Leniwce's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Batista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Tytus Buczak was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Carlos Alberto Magalhães capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlos Alberto Magalhães really showed his touch with that goal: 7-0. After 31 played minutes Agresywne Leniwce got a freekick which was hit by Kazimierz Sienkiewicz. 37 minutes into the match, Agresywne Leniwce's goalkeeper Tytus Buczak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Batista. Thanks to some nice moves João Batista could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Tytus Buczak however easily saved by the left post. 40 minutes into the match, Carlos Alberto Magalhães dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tytus Buczak, 8-0. The crowd rose to their feet as S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Joélson Paraibano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tytus Buczak. That made the score 9-0 after 44 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tadeusz Domamir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul booed when Agresywne Leniwce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kajetan Cieslak didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 54 minutes, Zdzislaw Chwalkiewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agresywne Leniwce and the S.E.R. Caxias do Sul players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul booed when Agresywne Leniwce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jurand Nieuzyla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tytus Buczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joélson Paraibano, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Tytus Buczak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Carlos Alberto Magalhães left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.E.R. Caxias do Sul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Tytus Buczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson Paraibano in the 75th minute of play. João Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Tytus Buczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had been going on for 81 minutes Kazimierz Sienkiewicz shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Eliézer Porto when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. 83 minutes into the game, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Carlos Alberto Magalhães nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tytus Buczak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. 87 minutes into the match, Ramiro de Lima had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tytus Buczak. Agresywne Leniwce's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramiro de Lima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. 90 minutes into the game, Carlos Alberto Magalhães cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 13-0. Tytus Buczak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tytus Buczak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joélson Paraibano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
