When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leopoldo Sanches made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Juan Su was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guns And Roses's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.E.R. Caxias do Sul the free kick. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Eliézer Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Sanches took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enzo Oliverio. Caxias do Sul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão Prata to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's João Batista got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute of the match Leonardo Basajaun shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eliézer Porto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leopoldo Sanches received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Enzo Oliverio came out and tried to block the shot, but Leopoldo Sanches slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 96th minute.
