Enzo Oliverio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 10 played minutes MINEIROS got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Braga. Eber Ludueña scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serginho Taffarel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guns And Roses's Bernabe Indalecio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Serginho Taffarel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, MINEIROS's Joel Quadros got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 40th minute, Wenceslao Taffarel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 41 minutes, Juan Su managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guns And Roses's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Su was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Wenceslao Taffarel hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute Bernabe Indalecio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serginho Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serginho Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Eber Ludueña sent off a good shot on target. João Vítor Linhares hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. When William Guerreiro fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MINEIROS's protests and gave William Guerreiro a yellow card for diving instead. William Guerreiro kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. MINEIROS's Vágner Gaspar was substituted for Christian Fernandes. Enzo Oliverio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 88 played minutes MINEIROS got a freekick which was hit by Nico de Mendonça. After 92 played minutes Guns And Roses got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Goren. Enzo Oliverio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho Goiano in the 94th minute of play. The MINEIROS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Guns And Roses were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
