Otto Hamberg started the match with the kick off. Hjalmar Fanström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emerson Barbosa hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Horácio Ferraz hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Samuca Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Kjellkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hjalmar Fanström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BRASIL.Sp's Samuca Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Hamberg in the 21st minute of play. AIF's William Fogel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save AIF from getting a goal against them. The supporters of AIF booed when BRASIL.Sp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aílton Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Paulinho Tepedino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BRASIL.Sp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AIF the free kick. After 29 played minutes BRASIL.Sp got a freekick which was hit by Paulinho Tepedino. With a little luck, AIF's William Fogel got control of the ball when José Vítor Marinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulinho Tepedino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without William Fogel having to make a save. José Vítor Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. William Fogel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 played minutes BRASIL.Sp got a freekick which was hit by Aílton Cunha. After recieving a nice pass, AIF's Samuel Kjellkvist tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Vítor Marinho made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gert Kjellbom during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th match minute, BRASIL.Sp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aílton Cunha to maneuver through the defense. William Fogel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vítor Marinho in the 57th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, BRASIL.Sp's José Vítor Marinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. William Fogel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Thanks to some nice moves Gert Kjellbom could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Samuca Freitas however easily saved by the left post. José Vítor Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in AIF's zone, José Vítor Marinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Fogel came out of the goal and José Vítor Marinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Gustaf Låsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo Nogueira in the 84th minute of play forced AIF's goalkeeper William Fogel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulinho Tepedino took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised William Fogel. William Fogel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Horácio Ferraz's late challenge caught a AIF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horácio Ferraz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to BRASIL.Sp getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Horácio Ferraz hit a great ball. The BRASIL.Sp support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
