The los nadies fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruben Cordarin should have stopped the shot. los nadies's Pablo Henrico got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Timoteo Clementi fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored los nadies's protests and gave Timoteo Clementi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Timoteo Clementi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. los nadies's Ruben Cordarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Tubbs in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Calvin Pilkington had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruben Cordarin. los nadies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Calvin Pilkington was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Arnout Hindriks made the kick off in the second half. Ruben Cordarin made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Arnout Hindriks sent off a good shot on target. Heavenly Hooters's Arnout Hindriks got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ruben Cordarin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calvin Pilkington, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Heavenly Hooters's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
