In the 3rd minute, los nadies's Memo Funes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With a little luck, SC Braga's Adelino Coelho got control of the ball when Albano Teodor tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of SC Braga booed when los nadies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Colin Barco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes SC Braga got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Osório. A collision led to los nadies getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Memo Funes hit a great ball. Juan Laffitte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Adelino Coelho made a huge save. After 24 minutes, Pedro Avelar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Braga and the los nadies players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th match minute, SC Braga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Avelar to maneuver through the defense. Albano Teodor kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Adelino Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Teodor in the 30th minute of the match. SC Braga's Adelino Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Memo Funes in the 39th minute of play. Memo Funes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Adelino Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Juan Laffitte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. los nadies's Miguel Hartz was substituted for Damian Mikelats. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some careless play in the los nadies defense, Mateus Prates kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruben Cordarin. The los nadies fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruben Cordarin should have stopped the shot. In the 64th minute Memo Funes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adelino Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Laffitte, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After 71 played minutes los nadies got a freekick which was hit by Colin Barco. Leandro Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leandro Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes SC Braga got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Queirós. 78 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Laffitte came free, but Adelino Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Juan Laffitte made a precise shot to the right of Adelino Coelho. SC Braga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Adelino Coelho came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by los nadies's Memo Funes. But to his dismay, Memo Funes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. los nadies had played much better football throughout.
