But to his dismay, Chicão Sergipano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Loja S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Cearense came free, but Fidel Lecea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 minutes, João Vítor Novaes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Callegari and the Loja S.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Callegari's João Vítor Novaes got a free kick in the 11th minute. A collision led to Loja S.C. getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Veronica Sabugo hit a great ball. Mathias Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Urtun Baldaliso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Fidel Lecea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 31 minutes, Chicão Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Callegari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chicão Sergipano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd match minute, Loja S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Viego to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Navedo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Callegari's Claudinho Alagoano shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 42nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fidel Lecea but with some difficulty. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Navedo made a kick off. Fidel Lecea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chicão Sergipano in the 54th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Loja S.C.'s Vachon Secada got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 56th match minute, Loja S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vachon Secada to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Callegari getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Claudinho Alagoano hit a great ball. Fidel Lecea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chicão Sergipano in the 61st minute of the match. Fidel Lecea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexsandro Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute.
