Albano Teodor's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Davi Paiva firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 9 played minutes Callegari got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Meira. Callegari's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Juan Laffitte 12 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Callegari's goalkeeper Davi Paiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albano Teodor. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexsandro Rodrigues in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruben Cordarin saved los nadies from getting behind. 19 minutes into the game, Damian Mikelats was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. los nadies's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Callegari the free kick. Callegari's Alessandro Cearense got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Callegari were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albano Teodor to strike the kick off in the second half. If Alessandro Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in los nadies's zone, Alessandro Cearense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Cordarin came out of the goal and Alessandro Cearense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 played minutes Callegari got a freekick which was hit by Alexsandro Rodrigues. The Callegari fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Callegari's Alessandro Cearense looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Davi Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Teodor in the 69th minute of play. Chicão Sergipano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ruben Cordarin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Davi Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Teodor in the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ediberto Quintal in the 90th minute of play forced los nadies's goalkeeper Ruben Cordarin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Callegari's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
