Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Primitivo Grau started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Grau in the 3rd minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Primitivo Grau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikolaj Jerzyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 17th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Zhao Sen Yang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikolaj Jerzyk was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stasio Bienienda in the 21st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zhao Sen Yang in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mikolaj Jerzyk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- got a corner. Newcastle United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stasio Bienienda ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s İlhami Akyazıcı getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Mikolaj Jerzyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhao Sen Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Obuchowicz hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İlhami Akyazıcı in the 38th minute of the match. Julian Obuchowicz made in the 40th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Bernardo Di Piazza. 43 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Ahlbeck came free, but Mikolaj Jerzyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45thth minute of the game Zhao Sen Yang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Newcastle United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pankracy Malicki made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mikolaj Jerzyk was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 55th minute, Adam Pacholewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newcastle United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. İlhami Akyazıcı took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mikolaj Jerzyk. Mikolaj Jerzyk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 66 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zhao Sen Yang. When İlhami Akyazıcı fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s protests and gave İlhami Akyazıcı a yellow card for diving instead. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Mugurel Pandele was substituted for İlhami Akyazıcı. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Emil Wielopolski was substituted for Grigore Maghiran. After 69 played minutes Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by İlhami Akyazıcı. Marian Erland kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Newcastle United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Zhao Sen Yang scored to the left of an out of position Mikolaj Jerzyk, making the score, 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in Newcastle United's zone, Petre Iftode stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikolaj Jerzyk came out of the goal and Petre Iftode tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivan Chiuzbaian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pankracy Malicki in the 77th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Zhao Sen Yang took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Mikolaj Jerzyk to make any attempt to save it. Newcastle United were furious when Edgar Lampa was red carded, 81 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The goalkeeper, Mikolaj Jerzyk, was totally fooled by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang, who 84 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 88th match minute, Newcastle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeusz Pstrongowski to maneuver through the defense. Zhao Sen Yang did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-7 to the left of a surprised Mikolaj Jerzyk 91 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the game, Zhao Sen Yang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Mikolaj Jerzyk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
