Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Merengue FC's Aquiles Urtsin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Merengue FC's Aquiles Urtsin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Haroldo Eufemio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 7th minute, Jonas Urbez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haroldo Eufemio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Urtsin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes of play, Merengue FC's Ediberto Sampaio made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haroldo Eufemio was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the game, Silvestre Dalmai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Falckner FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merengue FC the free kick. Haroldo Eufemio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Urtsin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Merengue FC's Ediberto Sampaio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Haroldo Eufemio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Merengue FC's Aquiles Urtsin in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Falckner FC's goalie prevented a goal. 33 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Frances came free, but Haroldo Eufemio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ediberto Sampaio might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haroldo Eufemio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ediberto Sampaio ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 37 minutes, Ismael Frances managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merengue FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Frances was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Aquiles Urtsin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Domingo Gimenez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Eufemio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Urtsin in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 minutes of play, Merengue FC's Ediberto Sampaio made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haroldo Eufemio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domingo Gimenez made a kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Falckner FC's goalkeeper Haroldo Eufemio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Haroldo Eufemio made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Ediberto Sampaio sent off a good shot on target. Ediberto Sampaio came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Haroldo Eufemio could save by the left post. Ediberto Sampaio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Haroldo Eufemio having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquiles Urtsin in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haroldo Eufemio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bayan Gugovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Gimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Falckner FC's Haroldo Eufemio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Falckner FC from getting a goal against them. When Jose Baldovino fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Falckner FC's protests and gave Jose Baldovino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, Jose Baldovino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jonas Urbez came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Falckner FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Urbez couldn't finish the play. Ediberto Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Jonas Urbez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falckner FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Urbez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bayan Gugovski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Falckner FC's Haroldo Eufemio got control of the ball when Darwin Núñez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ediberto Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Falckner FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Baldomiro Matei hit a great ball. A hard shot 90 in the game by Aquiles Urtsin from a close distance when the talented Haroldo Eufemio managed to make a qualified save. Falckner FC's players were relieved. 91 minutes into the match, Ediberto Sampaio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haroldo Eufemio. Falckner FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ediberto Sampaio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. With an all-out effort, Merengue FC's Haroldo Eufemio threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aquiles Urtsin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Merengue FC played a much better game than Falckner FC and deserved their victory. The Falckner FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
