Tommy Berg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Selami Cemre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th match minute, Avesta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sonny Beckman to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Avesta's Mathias Hansson got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute Tolga Şinasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Jonasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolga Şinasi in the 15th minute of play forced Avesta's goalkeeper Marcus Jonasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Avesta's Johan Sundling nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Selami Cemre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Selami Cemre was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabian Låsberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 25 minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Avesta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Sundling to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Avesta's goal looked a bit too open when Tolga Şinasi came free, but Marcus Jonasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferdi Barkan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Jonasson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Sonny Beckman charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sonny Beckman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Avesta got a freekick which was hit by Sonny Beckman. After 43 played minutes, KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ's Metin Ceyhan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcus Jonasson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ reached it. After 44 played minutes Avesta got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Berg. In the 46th match minute, Avesta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Åke Bolin to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Johan Sundling was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Avesta's Marcus Jonasson got control of the ball when Oğuz Mengüer tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Avesta's Sonny Beckman got a free kick in the 54th minute. A collision led to Avesta getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Johan Sundling hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oğuz Mengüer got free with Marcus Jonasson in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the match, Avesta's goalkeeper Marcus Jonasson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oğuz Mengüer. Johan Sundling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reine Andreasson hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Selami Cemre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Hansson in the 79th minute of play. Avesta were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tommy Berg took the corner. After 82 minutes, Johan Sundling mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avesta and the KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Avesta's Johan Sundling got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Marcus Jonasson made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Oğuz Mengüer sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Selmi Oral in the 85th minute of play forced Avesta's goalkeeper Marcus Jonasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Taha Nazım fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ's protests and gave Taha Nazım a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute Mathias Hansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selami Cemre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Avesta booed when KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taha Nazım didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 96 played minutes KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ got a freekick which was hit by Ömer Rıza Özveren. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
