Diki Doro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sakis Samarakos in the 8th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Olov Ahlbeck seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Olov Ahlbeck the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Olov Ahlbeck had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 7 minutes into the game, one of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-:s Diki Doro showed great skill when he stopped Manolis Kalergis:s penalty. Stratos Katsara came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang. But to his dismay, Zhao Sen Yang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Diki Doro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sakis Samarakos in the 15th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Petre Iftode during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 18 minutes into the game, Prokopis Aspiridis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Diki Doro. Prokopis Aspiridis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Diki Doro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lakis Antonopoulos in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Zhao Sen Yang notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Seahawks V55's Stratos Katsara. Stratos Katsara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Seahawks V55 getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Stamatis Kosmakis hit a great ball. Diki Doro made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Prokopis Aspiridis sent off a good shot on target. 33 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Sakis Samarakos came free, but Diki Doro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Stamatis Kosmakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sakis Samarakos during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Seahawks V55 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sakis Samarakos to maneuver through the defense.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zhao Sen Yang made a kick off. The supporters of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- booed when Seahawks V55 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stamatis Kosmakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dimos Zervoulakis tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Stratos Katsara. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-4 in the 55th minute. After 59 played minutes Seahawks V55 got a freekick which was hit by Stamatis Kosmakis. In the 64th match minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Jenaro to maneuver through the defense. Sakis Samarakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- made a substitution. Emil Wielopolski replaced Grigore Maghiran. After a defensive mix-up in Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s zone, Prokopis Aspiridis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diki Doro came out of the goal and Prokopis Aspiridis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stratos Katsara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stratos Katsara. That made the score 1-5 after 76 minutes of play. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s attentive Dacian Tilea managed to snatch the ball when Stamatis Kosmakis made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. Stratos Katsara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 80th minute of the match. Stratos Katsara was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zhao Sen Yang showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 82 minute of play. Stamatis Kosmakis made in the 86th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Prokopis Aspiridis immediately put the ball in play. 88 minutes into the match, Zhao Sen Yang dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stratos Katsara, 1-7. A hard shot 95 in the game by Zhao Sen Yang from a close distance when the talented Stratos Katsara managed to make a qualified save. Seahawks V55's players were relieved. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
