Knut Västerberg hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. With a little luck, F.C Águias de Ouro's Lauro Mangueira got control of the ball when Jurand Jaraczeski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lauro Mangueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurand Jaraczeski, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Onyx's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Domarecki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emrys Hannah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauro Mangueira having to interfere. Yıldırım Orguntay hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Wojciech Barycz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lauro Mangueira was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Zdzislaw Domarecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Knut Västerberg in the 45th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Wojciech Barycz made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Yıldırım Orguntay made a precise shot to the right of Zdzislaw Domarecki. Onyx's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The supporters of F.C Águias de Ouro booed when Onyx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Wachna didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Knut Västerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Knut Västerberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Zdzislaw Domarecki made a huge save. Zdzislaw Domarecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Knut Västerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jurand Jaraczeski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lauro Mangueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After 74 minutes, Emil Wachna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Onyx and the F.C Águias de Ouro players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Västerberg in the 95th minute of play forced Onyx's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Domarecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the F.C Águias de Ouro players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Onyx.
