Thomas Vollmar hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Mikolaj Jerzyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilie Dumitrescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilie Dumitrescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Mikolaj Jerzyk made a huge save. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Przemyslaw Bronder in the 9th minute of the match. After 11 minutes of play, Newcastle United's Adam Pacholewski made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iwo Domarecki was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes into the game, Diogo Martins recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mikolaj Jerzyk. Diogo Martins showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Przemyslaw Bronder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Diogo Martins sped through Newcastle United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mikolaj Jerzyk. Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Newcastle United from getting a goal against them. Przemyslaw Bronder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ilie Dumitrescu got free with Mikolaj Jerzyk in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute of the match Spartan FC Mogilany got a corner. Newcastle United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Konstanty Smolarek ran over to the corner to take the kick. Diogo Martins who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Mikolaj Jerzyk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olgierd Wojtowicz during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Olgierd Wojtowicz hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Diogo Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spartan FC Mogilany's supporters rose to their feet, but Diogo Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikolaj Jerzyk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mikolaj Jerzyk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Liam Hähner in the 42nd minute. Mikolaj Jerzyk was a little too slow when Diogo Martins got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 5-1. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Dumitrescu in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47thth minute of the game Przemyslaw Bronder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

After some careless play in the Newcastle United defense, Przemyslaw Bronder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mikolaj Jerzyk. The Newcastle United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mikolaj Jerzyk should have stopped the shot. When Diogo Martins came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Spartan FC Mogilany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diogo Martins couldn't finish the play. During the 61st minute of the match Olgierd Wojtowicz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Olgierd Wojtowicz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Newcastle United's Olgierd Wojtowicz got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Diogo Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikolaj Jerzyk having to interfere. Przemyslaw Bronder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Dumitrescu in the 70th minute of play. After 84 minutes of play, Spartan FC Mogilany's Ilie Dumitrescu made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mikolaj Jerzyk was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Dumitrescu in the 88th minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Ilie Dumitrescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikolaj Jerzyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Dumitrescu in the 91st minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Przemyslaw Bronder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mikolaj Jerzyk. Newcastle United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Przemyslaw Bronder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Spartan FC Mogilany had played much better football throughout.
