The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Žydrūnas Pauža shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwo Domarecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iwo Domarecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mecnun Seha in the 5th minute of the match. Ilie Dumitrescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Tayfun Tanfer made a huge save. After 15 played minutes MarineerS FK got a freekick which was hit by Tekin Batırhan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstanty Smolarek in the 16th minute of play forced MarineerS FK's goalkeeper Tayfun Tanfer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tayfun Tanfer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Dumitrescu in the 23rd minute of the match. Spartan FC Mogilany's Iwo Domarecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Žydrūnas Pauža in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute Žydrūnas Pauža shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwo Domarecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Spartan FC Mogilany's Iwo Domarecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Žydrūnas Pauža in the 27th minute of play. Iwo Domarecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mecnun Seha, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Spartan FC Mogilany's goal looked a bit too open when Davide Tonon came free, but Iwo Domarecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carl Rundell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Spartan FC Mogilany defense, Mecnun Seha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iwo Domarecki. The Spartan FC Mogilany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iwo Domarecki should have stopped the shot. The Spartan FC Mogilany players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MarineerS FK were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Konstanty Smolarek made the kick off in the second half. Tayfun Tanfer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liam Hähner in the 57th minute of play. Spartan FC Mogilany's Iwo Domarecki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Spartan FC Mogilany from getting a goal against them. MarineerS FK were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Spartan FC Mogilany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. John Antolin took the corner. Iwo Domarecki made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Žydrūnas Pauža sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Spartan FC Mogilany's Dawid Luty got a free kick in the 76th minute. Spartan FC Mogilany's Przemyslaw Bronder was substituted for Diogo Martins.
