Matías Loureiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Žydrūnas Pauža went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Ismael Braga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Tayfun Tanfer made a huge save. In the 37th minute, Davide Tonon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matías Loureiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Lucien Vercalsteren hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Matías Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Žydrūnas Pauža, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carl Rundell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matías Loureiro having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gilberto Severo made the kick off in the second half. Matías Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Žydrūnas Pauža, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 53 played minutes Maxguaruja got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Dias. In the 57th minute, Davide Tonon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Gilberto Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maxguaruja's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Severo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tayfun Tanfer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ismael Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Davide Tonon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Matías Loureiro, 0-8. In the 77th minute, Žydrūnas Pauža left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MarineerS FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. After a rather tough play, Maxguaruja's Otávio Borges got a free kick in the 81st minute. John Antolin, 82 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Matías Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilias Tsembelis in the 83rd minute of the match. Otávio Borges lost his temper 86 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 86th match minute, Maxguaruja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otávio Borges to maneuver through the defense. This resulted in a 0-10 score and a disappointed Matías Loureiro as he didn't even see the shot coming. Matías Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Žydrūnas Pauža, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Davide Tonon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matías Loureiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Davide Tonon slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded MarineerS FK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Maxguaruja.
