In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind CSKA-LULIN's goalkeeper Vitomir Starokin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute Isaias Jakue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitomir Starokin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Flavian Bastin came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Sporting Buceo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavian Bastin couldn't finish the play. Han Chao Sang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Maximo Horquizar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jannic De Vreese made in the 24th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ding Maldini immediately put the ball in play. Maximo Horquizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Danel in the 27th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, CSKA-LULIN's Pavel Nestor got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute of the match Yao Yan Sen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vitomir Starokin skillfully saved the ball. If Flavian Bastin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severo Danel came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maximo Horquizar could save by the left post. Maximo Horquizar was a little too slow when Leopoldo Jacinto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 1-1. When Han Chao Sang came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the CSKA-LULIN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Han Chao Sang couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the game, Severo Danel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maximo Horquizar. Severo Danel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leopoldo Jacinto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Han Chao Sang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sporting Buceo made a substitution. Xinto Carreiras replaced Filimon Gamburtsev. CSKA-LULIN made a substitution. Ištvan Ceaușescu replaced Yanek Davchev. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Danel in the 60th minute of play forced Sporting Buceo's goalkeeper Maximo Horquizar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 62 in the game by Xinto Carreiras from a close distance when the talented Vitomir Starokin managed to make a qualified save. CSKA-LULIN's players were relieved. Maximo Horquizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Jacinto in the 64th minute of play. In the 70th minute of the match, Maureen Franco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vitomir Starokin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Maximo Horquizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Han Chao Sang in the 74th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Danel came free, but Maximo Horquizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Xinto Carreiras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitomir Starokin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xinto Carreirass short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Vitomir Starokin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Sporting Buceo's Juan Sartori got a free kick in the 87th minute. CSKA-LULIN's Mito Kulov was substituted for Severo Danel. The supporters of CSKA-LULIN booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sartori didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximo Horquizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Han Chao Sang in the 90th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maureen Franco got free with Vitomir Starokin in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vitomir Starokin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xinto Carreiras in the 96th minute of play.
