Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Panacán's Emanuel Ralondo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Emanuel Ralondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clyde Spencer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Jerrold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neeshan La Forest in the 14th minute of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Kevon Hussein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Port of Spain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevon Hussein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AC Port of Spain's Kevon Hussein got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The AC Port of Spain fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when AC Port of Spain's Neeshan La Forest looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Armando Jerrold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neeshan La Forest, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute AC Port of Spain were awarded a corner. Austin Mathur went to the cornerflag to take it. AC Port of Spain's Austin Mathur was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Armando Jerrold in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With an all-out effort, Panacán's Clyde Spencer threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emanuel Ralondo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 34 minutes into the match, AC Port of Spain's goalkeeper Clyde Spencer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliciano Iraitz. In the 41st minute, Alejandro Sabin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Austin Mathur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Neeshan La Forest's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Jerrold was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Neeshan La Forest to make the kick off. Neeshan La Forest received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Armando Jerrold came out and tried to block the shot, but Neeshan La Forest slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 52nd minute. Armando Jerrold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neeshan La Forest in the 62nd minute of the match. A collision led to Panacán getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Eliseo Honesto hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Bob Sealy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emanuel Ralondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Clyde Spencer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Emanuel Ralondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clyde Spencer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javier Fresco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clyde Spencer having to interfere. Feliciano Iraitz took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clyde Spencer. Clyde Spencer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Clyde Spencer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Iraitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When Eliseo Honesto came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Panacán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Honesto couldn't finish the play. Clyde Spencer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Ralondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 90th match minute, AC Port of Spain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bob Ramlogan to maneuver through the defense. Panacán's Feliciano Iraitz got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 96 minutes of play, Panacán's Emanuel Ralondo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clyde Spencer was left in no man's land by his defense there!
