After having played for 2 minutes, Denis Bertran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Libertarios FC 0ESTADO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Bertran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nguyễn Pham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Garikoitz in the 7th minute of play. After 12 minutes, Hoàng Cuc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Son La and the Libertarios FC 0ESTADO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hoàng Cuc kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Denis Bertran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Libertarios FC 0ESTADO getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Jesus Afonso hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Jesus Afonso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nguyễn Pham. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cosme Mikelats hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Trần Diem left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Son La fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Nguyễn Pham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Pio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Libertarios FC 0ESTADO walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
