Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emanuel Ralondo started the match with the kick off. If Augusto De Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto De Rossi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Armando Jerrold firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 9th match minute, Bologna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Gori to maneuver through the defense. Armando Jerrold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Meazza in the 12th minute of play. Bologna's Emanuele Cagnetta got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augusto De Rossi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando Jerrold having to make a save. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Panacán's goalkeeper Armando Jerrold, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Panacán's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Fausto Meazza scored to the left of an out of position Armando Jerrold, making the score, 1-0. 21 minutes into the game, Fausto Meazza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Armando Jerrold. Fausto Meazza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Emanuele Di Claudio kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Panacán's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Augusto De Rossi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Armando Jerrold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Meazza in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Emanuele Cagnetta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bologna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panacán the free kick. After 33 played minutes Bologna got a freekick which was hit by Emanuele Cagnetta. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Augusto De Rossi put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Armando Jerrold. Fausto Meazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Armando Jerrold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alfonso Coco fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bologna's protests and gave Alfonso Coco a yellow card for diving instead. Alfonso Coco hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Augusto De Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Jerrold having to interfere. The supporters of Bologna booed when Panacán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Honesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panacán's Armando Jerrold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Meazza in the 44th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Fausto Meazza made the kick off in the second half. Armando Jerrold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Meazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bologna's Augusto De Rossi in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Panacán's goalie prevented a goal. Feliciano Iraitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ermanno Rea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Fausto Meazza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Jerrold. Panacán's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fausto Meazza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 62 minutes, Fausto Meazza made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Panacán's Armando Jerrold tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Armando Jerrold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Meazza in the 66th minute of play. Delmar Federigo's late challenge caught a Bologna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmar Federigo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bologna booed when Panacán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Federigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Bologna. Fedele Beattie stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Armando Jerrold. 6-0. Emanuel Ralondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ermanno Rea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Fausto Meazza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The supporters of Panacán booed when Bologna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuele Di Claudio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliciano Iraitz got free with Ermanno Rea in the 99th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bologna had played much better football throughout.
