Son La's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panacán the free kick. Nguyễn Pham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Ralondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Eliseo Honesto's late challenge caught a Son La's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Honesto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Eliseo Honesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Son La's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
