The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kevaughn Cupid during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13thth minute of the game Neeshan La Forest who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IACC's Tomás Conrao was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kevon Hussein succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 14th playminute. Neeshan La Forest was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Bob Sealy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Eloy Oliveiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IACC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 29 played minutes IACC got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Kelemen. With a little luck, IACC's Tomás Conrao got control of the ball when Bob Sealy tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 31 minutes IACC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Austin Mathur who took care of the corner kick. IACC's Tomás Conrao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neeshan La Forest in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Kevon Hussein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Ariel Chucho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IACC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. A collision led to AC Port of Spain getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Fitzgerald Asgarali hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eloy Oliveiro to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, IACC's Fernan Llorenc got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute of the match Austin Mathur sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomás Conrao skillfully saved the ball. Tomás Conrao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Neeshan La Forest's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After 56 minutes of play IACC's Fulgencio Kelemen was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After having played for 58 minutes, Neeshan La Forest managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Port of Spain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neeshan La Forest was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomás Conrao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Sealy in the 59th minute of the match. After 60 minutes, Eloy Oliveiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IACC and the AC Port of Spain players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of AC Port of Spain booed when IACC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Oliveiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Conrao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neeshan La Forest, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 played minutes IACC got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Oliveiro. Tomás Conrao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neeshan La Forest in the 69th minute of the match. Kevon Hussein hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. If Ariel Chucho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ariel Chucho charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ariel Chucho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ariel Chucho kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes IACC got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Llorenc. After a defensive mix-up in IACC's zone, Neeshan La Forest stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Conrao came out of the goal and Neeshan La Forest tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clyde Spencer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Gaur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Celestino Gaur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eloy Oliveiro kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The IACC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
