When Trần Diem came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Son La fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trần Diem couldn't finish the play. Son La's Nguyễn Pham proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Son La from getting a goal against them. Lưu Phu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Görkem Bolat having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, one of MYSTERY F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. MYSTERY F.C:s Görkem Bolat showed great skill when he stopped Nguyễn Binh:s penalty. 15 minutes into the game, Son La's Nguyễn Binh nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Görkem Bolat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ozan Vakkasoğlu scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nguyễn Pham, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as MYSTERY F.C's Gürcan Laçin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nguyễn Pham. That made the score 2-1 after 21 minutes of play. In the 24th minute, Gürcan Laçin made a precise shot to the right of Nguyễn Pham. Son La's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Lưu Phu struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Görkem Bolat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Son La. After a rather tough play, MYSTERY F.C's Tümer Yağız got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Görkem Bolat came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Son La's Trần Diem. But to his dismay, Trần Diem quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The supporters of Son La booed when MYSTERY F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tümer Yağız didn't get a good kick on the ball. Görkem Bolat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lưu Phu, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in MYSTERY F.C's zone, Trần Diem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Görkem Bolat came out of the goal and Trần Diem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ozan Vakkasoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Pham having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute, Nguyễn Tuyet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gürcan Laçin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Nguyễn Pham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Trần Diem recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Görkem Bolat. Trần Diem showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. Trần Diem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Görkem Bolat having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Son La was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Tuyet to maneuver through the defense. Son La's Trần Diem was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 78th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gürcan Laçin in the 88th minute of play forced Son La's goalkeeper Nguyễn Pham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trần Diem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Görkem Bolat having to interfere. Tümer Yağız received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Nguyễn Pham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Son La's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
