Armando Jerrold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikolaus Spranger, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After 5 minutes, Marcel Koerlin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magenta FC and the Panacán players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Javier Fresco during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Magenta FC booed when Panacán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Fresco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Panacán's zone, Frank Hiller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Jerrold came out of the goal and Frank Hiller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Magenta FC's Ernst Trumpf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Ralondo in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Javier Fresco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Panacán fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Panacán's Feliciano Iraitz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Ernst Trumpf made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Feliciano Iraitz sent off a good shot on target. Eliseo Honesto scored 3-0 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernst Trumpf, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Ralondo made a kick off. Ernst Trumpf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliciano Iraitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panacán's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lino Leizarraga in the 55th minute. The corner ended in Lino Leizarraga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Magenta FC's Ernst Trumpf did a great save. Nikolaus Spranger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Jerrold read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Emanuel Ralondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ernst Trumpf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panacán's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Frank Hiller 65 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. When Eliseo Honesto fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panacán's protests and gave Eliseo Honesto a yellow card for diving instead. Eliseo Honesto hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Emanuel Ralondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernst Trumpf having to interfere. 4-1 became the score in the 77th minute when Emanuel Ralondo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Magenta FC's Frank Hiller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Jerrold narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ernst Trumpf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Iraitz in the 93rd minute of the match. Panacán were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Magenta FC for a fine match.
